Men's Basketball Ends Month of February on the Road
Rochester, N.Y. – The Bryant and Stratton Rochester men's basketball team's season will look to wrap up the month of February on a high note. The Bobcats will head on the road once again to Ohio, to take on Bryant and Stratton Ohio, Saturday afternoon.
Bryant and Stratton is 1-4 on the season, after hard fought loss to Bryant and Stratton Syracuse at home, 78-70. Andre Hairston led the way once again for the Bobcats providing a much needed spark off the bench. Hairston finished with a double double recording 16 points, and 11 rebounds while also stuffing the stat sheet with 6 assists and 2 steals. Donte Crumpler, Victor Caldwell, and Marcus Zappia all reached double figures in the defeat scoring 15, 13, and 11 respectively.
Bryant and Stratton Ohio sits at 5-1 on the season, coming into Saturday's matchup. Last time out, the Bobcats of Ohio defeated Hocking College, 85-83. Their squad is led by freshman leading scorer Deval Harrell averaging 19 points per game. Greg Thurman and Lequan Taylor are also averaging double figures, scoring 18.0 and 10.0 respectively.
