ALBANY, NY - With an automatic bid to the USCAA National Tournament on the line in the North American Conference for Intercollegiate Athletics (NACIA) Championship game, the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton Rochester found themselves on the wrong end of 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Five Towns College Sound. Despite many chances, the Bobcats were unable to put home a goal and fell short to the Sound in their quest for back-to-back conference championships.
The Sound scored in the 63rd minute, the game's only goal to capture their first conference title and secure the automatic bid.
The Bobcats will now await to see if their will make their fourth consecutive trip to the National Tournament. National bid day is set for Wednesday, November 5th at 3 pm. The Bobcats won the USCAA National Title in 2023. They currently sit T-5 in the latest USCAA Coaches Poll. The national tournament has a six-team field.
