Bobcats to Face Florida National in First Round of USCAA Tournament

Bryant & Stratton College secured the third seed in the 2020 USCAA National Championship and will face six seed, Florida National University on Thursday, March 12 at 10:00 am.

The Bobcats, on the strength of a 12-game winning streak, climbed the USCAA Coaches Poll over the last two months. The Bobcats enter the tournament with a 21-5 record thanks to a formidable defense which held opponents to under 50 points eight times on the season, while holding opponets to fewer than 60 points nine more times.

Florida National finished 14-11, playing a schedule that featured a mix of USCAA, NAIA and even NCAA opponents. Like the Bobcats, the Conquistadors boast a strong defensive unit which complements a steady offensive group. FNU represents a challenge for the Bobcats as both squads have only lost once in the new year with FNU dropping only three games since the start of December.

Tip off for the first round matchup is at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 12 in Uniontown, PA.
